The bookcase

Meredith has become quite fond of the bookcase that my grandma gave us. It is a tall one, which we like because it gives us lots up 'up high' space for things the girls can't reach (yet). Their toys are on the bottom, and there's a big space because we haven't come up with a way to keep them from sliding out the shelves. But I don't think we'll add a low shelf anytime soon because it's become one of Meredith's favorite hangouts.

She also likes to sit in the toy box (pink, bottom right of these pictures) and Saturday started climbing on a foot stool. By Monday she had figured out how to climb from the footstool to an easy chair, and rolled around with delight once up there, so that may become her new favorite place.
