Today we saw the first stage of the Tour de France, in the town of Avranche in the Normandy region.
Can you see how glad the kids are to be there?
Before the riders, there was a grand caravan of sponsors, including the official paraphernalia vans.

And when the riders came, we had 20 seconds of proximity to some of the world's best athletes:
Then it was off to view Le Mont Saint Michel, where the Tour had started. But that blog post is for another day!
