Reno

In July, we took a trip to see Dave's family in Reno.

It was a very enjoyable visit- we saw all of Dave's siblings & their spouses, all the girls cousins, some of Dave's cousins as well as his aunt & uncle. Adi was more relaxed around the large extended family than she had been at Christmas (which meant I could leave the room occasionally) and they just are playing more independently anyway. Grandma & Grandpa C have a nice patio that has acquired a few kids toys and Mae learned how to open the back door to get out whenever she pleased. They both slept well, which made a huge difference to us. And although it took a few days to adjust to the canines of the family, by the end of the trip both girls would pat the dogs as they walked past; this seems to be continuing at home. We're looking forward to any visits the C's pay to us before we venture out again next Christmas!
